As a first of its kind partnership between the UN and the global family business community, UNCTAD and Family Business Network (FBN) jointly have developed the Global Initiative “Family Business for Sustainable Development (FBSD)”. It invites business families to embed sustainability into their business practices and to mobilize investments in sustainable development, thereby committing to concrete, measurable contributions towards the SDGs. Key components of the FBSD Initiative include signing the sustainability pledge and committing to tracking and reporting of sustainability indicators for family firms.
